*Spaghetti Dinner: We’d love for everyone to join us for a spaghetti dinner on Sunday, June 1st, right after the service at 12:00 PM. This dinner is by donation, and all proceeds will go toward supporting our upcoming mission trip to Kenya. Everything given helps, and we’re so thankful for your generosity as we work together to make this trip possible.
We will also be holding a dessert auction to raise additional funds. If you have a dessert you’re known for and would like to donate it to be auctioned off, there’s a sign-up sheet with a limited number of spots—so don’t wait to add your name. Along with the auction, we’ll have a general dessert table where people can enjoy treats freely. If you’d rather bake something like cookies or brownies for that table, there’s a separate sign-up for that too. It’s going to be a fun afternoon of food, fellowship, and supporting a great cause—we hope to see you there! If you can’t make it to the dinner and want to give financial support for the trip, you can do so with a check made out to FBC Waverly. in memo line “Kenya Trip.”
*Directories: Gary will be in the foyer passing out the new directories today, if you did not get one, stop by and pick one up. If you got one last week please stop by and pick up a one sheet addendum that needs to be added to the directory.
*Bible Study: Join us starting Wednesday, May 28th as we begin a study on the book of Romans.
*Church Picnic: You are invited to join us Sunday, June 8th at 6:00 p.m. for a Church Picnic at the Walnut Street Park shelter house. Church will provide hot dogs, drinks and place settings, please bring a covered dish or dessert to share, lawn chairs and a yard game if you have one.
*Membership Meeting: We will have a brief quarterly membership meeting on Monday, June 9th at 7:00 p.m. If you are a member, please plan to come and get important updates about what is happening around F.B.C.
*Widows and Senior Singles: Ladies make plans to attend our upcoming widows and senior singles dinner on Friday, June 13th at 5:30 p.m. Plan to come and fellowship with one another and enjoy a meal cooked just for you. If you plan to attend, please contact the office by Monday, June 9th or sign up at the information area.
